Banker, Playback Singer, Social Worker, Homemaker - just 4 of the many roles Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis skilfully navigates on a daily basis. Born to doctor parents in the late 80s, Amruta Fadnavis (née Ranade) grew up in a household where education, importance of maintaining good health and independence for women was essential to the way of life. This meticulous ideology while growing up was to shape her outlook in life for years to come. Schooled at the St. Joseph Convent School in Nagpur, Amruta graduated from G. S. College of Commerce and Economics. She later pursued her MBA in Finance and studied Taxation Laws from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. Along with studies, she also participated in sports and was a state-level under-16 Tennis player. She started working in Axis Bank where her expertise and business acumen has taken her from Executive - Cashier in 2003 to Vice President - Corporate Head (West India) today. Already, in her professional capacity, she was becoming an inspiration to many.

On the personal front, Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis has always believed in creating equal opportunities for all. Her astute upbringing inculcated the importance of practicing good hygiene and maintaining good health from a very young age. This translated into the growing movement called ‘Divyaj Foundation’ that began in full swing in 2016 and has since left many an indelible mark in the hearts and souls of all that have come in contact with the Foundation. This has come to fruition through various Wellness Programs and Medical Camps initiated by Divyaj Foundation under her guidance. Through her, Divyaj Foundation has had the vision of reaching out to the common citizens of society, engaging and empowering them and adding quality contribution thereby enabling a positive change in their quality of.

lives from Wellness camps for the Safai Karmchari of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) to the rechristening of acid attack survivors to victors, from celebrating Yoga Day with children of deceased farmers to the rehabilitation of undertrial jail inmates, Divyaj Foundation, under Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis’ guidance, is marching to the cause of social justice and empowering various sections of the society through knowledge, assistance and creation of opportunities. This has led to over 20 hugely successful welfare programs by Divyaj Foundation in just a little over 2 years.

Her many achievements and contributions notwithstanding, Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis is an extremely kind and approachable leader. She has been championing the use of sanitary napkins and menstrual health openly thereby striving for better health for women across the nation. Her ideas have been spreading awareness about sanitation and the use of toilets across all the villages that she visits on a regular basis. Not a firm believer in mere promises, she believes in self-improvement enabling the villages she visits to take up responsibility in their own hands and making them self-sufficient. She has been tirelessly working for the villages of Fetri and Kavdas which were adopted by Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis. With open libraries and good medical facilities, these villages are on their way to becoming model villages.

Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis has walked the ramp as showstopper for the promotion of handloom and the education of the girl child at the ‘New York Fashion Week’. She also walked the ramp for NIFT to promote Tribal Craft – a weaving form of Maharashtra. She represented India at the National Prayer Breakfast 2017, an international peace initiative presided by the US President Donald Trump.
